The Challenge
Do You Have What It Takes?
As one of the premier community charity events, the Corporate
Adventure Challenge guarantees to be fun for the whole family!
Attracting over 1,000 competitors and open to the public, this
exciting relay race combines the challenges of an obstacle
course with the best of team competition. And, you don't have
to be a professional athlete to take part. The course is
designed to allow participants to challenge themselves at their
desired fitness level with awards given out in a variety of
different categories. It is a relay race and the objective is
simple. The team with the fastest time wins. The course consists
of seven stages and winds its way throughout the entire park.
The clock starts are Stage 1 and ends when the last member of
your team crosses the finish line of Stage 7. There are eight
members per team and each person is issued a wristband that they
must pass off to the next competitor. Failure to do so will
result in a time penalty for your team. Stage 1 starts off at
Dambusters, a challenging on and off-road course through
forest and over a variety of challenging obstacles. Next, it's
the only two person event, Sink or Swim. From there, it's
off to the Adrenaline Rush, an off-road stage full of
twists and turns and a few surprises. Now, it's time to Climb
to the Top. A challenging hike up the Escarpment. Once you
arrive, it's time to navigate Down 'n Dirty, a thrilling
mountain bike course through the forest, along the trails and
across the beautiful meadows. What goes up, must come down and
straight down is no fun! Serpentine winds its way through
the forest, over some natural obstacles and back to the beach.
Finally, it's time for someone on your team to run The
Gauntlet. This leg of the course is the most challenging as
it is the final battery of obstacles. No where else can you
bring your co-workers, friends and family for a day like this.
And, no where else can you have this much fun helping some great
causes. We can't promise that you won't get wet, a little
dirty or even a little tired. But, we can promise you will have
the time of your life doing it! |
