Country Heritage Park

Pitting Teams from across the Province, the 1st Annual Lions Club Invitational Emergency Services Tug-of-War competition is an event you won't want to miss.                     

When it comes to the emergency services and a little friendly competition, there's no prize money at stake. There is something even more valuable. Bragging rights! The honour of being called the Best of the Best. The right to wear the crown and title of Champions. 

Hosted by the Toronto Highlanders Tug-of-War Club, this inaugural event is sure to be a fan favourite.  A competition of strength, agility and strategy, this sport truly defines Teamwork. Members of the public are encourage to come out and cheer on their favourite Team.

To Qualify

All you need is a Team of 8.  You must have a minimum of 2 female competitors on your Team or you can enter an all-female Team.  The members of your Team must be members of the respective service.  Final Team rosters are due by Friday, October 19, 2012 afterwhich you cannot substiutute any member.  You're committed with who you got!  

This is a fun contest of strength, agility and strategy.  It is an elimination event.  Teams will go head-to-head until we reach our top two Teams.  They face-off in our Championship round for the title and right to be called the Best of the Best!

To Register your Team just click on the button to download the Team Entry Form.  The fee for all Teams is $50.00 per person.  All funds raised for the day go towards the Challenge Foundation group of charities.
